Learn the rules before you play roulette online
American Roulette is one of the most popular variants of Roulette that could be found in the majority of US casinos. The game is increasingly becoming popular in Asia and UK too. But European players do not prefer playing this variant, and instead, they prefer a European casino roulette game. So before you start to play roulette online, you should be well familiar with the differences and the rules.
The American casino roulette game has 38 sections on the wheel, whereas the European variant only has 37. These sections are numbered randomly and then colored according to their alternate positions using black and red colors. The rolet Eropa has one 0, which is colored in green, whereas the American version has two 0. The main aim of the game is to predict the correct number of the pocket in which the spun ball is going to fall. For this purpose, a gambler has to wager on the specific number which he thinks would win. Once the bets are completed, the roulette wheel is rotated and the croupier puts the ball in the opposite direction of the spin. After the wheel comes to a stop, the outcome is known and the players are handed their respective winnings or the dealer collects the amount from them in case if they lost a bet.

The wagering is done on the roulette table and there is a visual representation of all the possible betting combinations. Players can use these chips to either wager on a single number or choose the different betting combinations that are available. Once the sign “no more bets” is displayed by the dealer, the betting stops and the game begins.
There are two kinds of bets that you can find when you play roulette online. These bets are called inside and outside bets. Inside bets are the bets which are usually placed on a specific pocket or a small combination of numbers. While the outside bets engulf wider combinations of bets. Inside bets usually have more payouts than the outside bets.
However, if the ball lands in a 0 numbered pocket, the bet amount is reduced to 50% and the remaining amount is returned back to the gambler.
Outside bets also have one variant known as NewAR wager. This enables a player to either bet on whether the number will be odd or even or the color of the pocket in which the ball will land.
