Held on Thanksgiving Weekend October 7 -10/2011
Located in Knowlton, Quebec on the Grounds of the Brome County Historical Society (Museum), Centennial Building, 130 Lakeside, Knowlton Quebec.
This four day event will fill the entire building with Pressed Glass, Goblets, Depression Glass, Elegant Glass, Coloured Glass, Heisey Glass, Oil Lamps and many unusual pieces!!
The show and sale runs:
- Friday, 12 Noon – 6 p.m.,
- Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
- Thanksgiving Monday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Session l: Mon. Oct. 19, 2009 JOIN IN THE CHORUS! – an evening of choral music, featuring Handel, Verdi and Orff. You are invited to join in if you wish.
Session 2: Mon. Oct. 26, 2009 AN EVENING AT SYMPHONY HALL – a complete, but tuneful and accessible program, typical of what one might hear at a light symphonic concert. All in video.
Both session at the Lac Brome Theatre, starting at 7 p.m.
An admission of $5. is requested to cover costs and benefit the Historical Society.

The Quebec Writers Federation is very pleased to present a “Writers’Out Loud” event at Brome Lake Books featuring Montreal author Claire Holden Rothman and her new book, The Heart Specialist based on the life of Dr. Maude Abbot, one of Canada’s first female doctors and a leader in her field. Montreal playwright Kit Brennan will host the event at 7 p.m. on May 5th at Brome Lake Books, 264 Knowlton Road in Knowlton.
