Our winner is Joan Windle Barnes, long-time earlier resident of Knowlton; now living in Penticton, BC. She knew Keith Mizener when she was ten years old, as Keith had known the parents, grandparents and at least one great-grand-parent! On one of her twice-a-year return visits to Knowlton Keith had told her about our show and CIDI; she picked up on our live-streaming internet connection on her return to BC. Currently, Joan is an author, at least one book to her credit; very personable and most comfortable on a mike, good voice, etc., and is genuinely interested in the CIDI situation. Understand she may even sell the house in BC and move back to Knowlton. As it turned out, we couldn’t have had a more wonderful winner…in so many ways!
